About Us

Moldtrust is a mold remediation and restoration company that was established in 2012 by co-founders Trent McGoffin and Aaron Davidson.

Trent McGoffin began his career by spending 15+ years in the property management business. He then moved into the banking industry where he was a commercial business development officer and responsible for the development and growth of relationships with commercial customers.  As a commercial business development officer, McGoffin often serviced businesses that spanned across all industries.  From this exposure, he was introduced to the mold remediation and water restoration industry and quickly recognized the demand for these services. By 2010, McGoffin was working for a mold remediation and water restoration company servicing private homeowners across the southeast.

McGoffin currently holds the following certifications/affiliations:

• Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
• Applied Structure Drying (ASD)
• Commercial Drying Specialist (CDS)

Aaron Davidson spent 15+ years in the construction business where he mastered home remodeling and restoration skills. For 8 years Davidson worked as operations manager for a restoration company and was involved in commercial and residential restoration, and redevelopment. As Davidson serviced these industries, he too began to recognize the increased demand for restoration, and wanted to focus on the property management and real estate investor arena.

Davidson currently holds the following certifications/affiliations:

• Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
• Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
• Certified Mold Remediation Contractor (CMRC)

Both owners, working in different sectors of real estate related industries could easily see that mold issues were on the rise and quick. Efficient resolution was a rapidly growing need. Combining their complementing experiences, they established MoldTrust, a company that is quickly becoming one of the most efficient, top-quality servicing companies in the industry.
